What We Believe

WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired infallible Word of Good, written by Holy Men as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

WE BELIEVE in one God who is Infinite in Power, Holy in Nature, Attributes and Purpose, Omniscient and Omnipresent.

WE BELIEVE that he is Father in Creation, Son in Redemption, and Holy Spirit in the Church.

WE BELIEVE in, the Baptism in Water By Immersion, in the NAUE of the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the Remission of sins, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of Speaking in Other tongues as the Spirit Gives Utterance,
Our Chief aim is to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Our purpose is the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:12

Mission

VISION: To reach out to people by sharing the word of God, and sharing God's love. To help meet the needs of hurting people in the community through community involvement, education, and spiritual growth.

MISSION : To: Go ye therefore, teaching all nations...

We will teach Home Bible study, have a door-to-door ministry, a jail ministry, and conduct street services.-Jesus said, "He came to save that which was lost." That is our purpose. As born again, Holy Ghost filled believers, we have the power to witness, with the spirit of God.

About the Church

Bibleway was established in 1963. It was first located at I 1 8 Bancroft in the old fish market (1963-1967). In the latter part of 1967 it moved to 337 North Detroit Avenue in the old bowing alley and March of 1970 the church march to the old mansion at 2023 Waite Avenue. But the church family soon outgrew that facility and in November of 1081 the church family marched to their new location 2335 Collingwood Blvd. (the old Jewish temple). This new location not only had adequate space and sanctuary but it had a school that is now "Bibleway Christian Academy

In December the church will be celebrating its anniversary of 36 years. We have come a long way God has bless us to come to the last year (in this century) before the new millennium. He has always blessed us and we expect even greater blessings from God. Many friends and families have come to know God through Bibleway's presence in the community and our heart's desire is that we can become a beacon to lost souls looking for safety; and it's only in Christ.
